    Hey Everyone!

So I wanted to try my hand at adult video streaming, I have little experiance in this niche, if you have any hints or tips, I would love to hear.

So far what I've done -

    • Set up wordpress
    • Set up Tube/Video Theme
    • Set up csv importer so I can take pornhub/other exports
    • Imported 100 videos

What I'm Planning To Do -
    • Twitter (1-10 accounts running automated tweets when a new video published + followliker)
    • Tumblr (1-10 accounts running automated posts when a new video published + followliker)

How I'm Going To Monitize -

    • This is so far a to be decided thing however, here's some ideas,
    • Sell clicks to pornhub
    • Cpa Adverts for cams/other sites
    • Cpa locker? Nasty but easily implemented

Let me know what you guys think :) will be taking on ideas + posting stats daily/weekly when i have time!

$50 a day is doable; but if you're going to build a porn site it's important to understand that you're going against some of the biggest and brightest minds in the tech industry. Re-posting some videos on a WordPress blog just isn't enough. It used to be, but these days viewers are going to expect something unique. There's no reason to visit your WordPress site which almost certainly lacks features such as video previewing when you hover the mouse over the thumbnail image, photo/video galleries, social networking, or even uploading their own content. I can just go to pornhub directly and get a much better experience.

If you're going to repost videos and use something like Exoclick for ads, your CPM is likely around $0.20. This means your WordPress site has to have 250,000 views a day or 10,416/hr or 173.6/min. The average user stays for ~6 min, so at any given time you'll have ~1,041 users on your website. If I had to take a guess there's about zero chance your server will handle an average of 1,041 users being logged in 24/7, which doesn't account for the insane amount of hack and spam attempts you'll be getting with WordPress.

If you're in it for easy money, look somewhere else. There's much easier ways to make a buck. I think you're really under estimating the amount of traffic and technical knowledge you'll need; from people that visit, get themselves off, but rarely click ads.

Tube sites are very hard to monetise (from my own experience). Basically because people are just there to watch the free videos and then fuck off back to whatever they were doing previously before the need to "jerk off" came to mind.

Also tube sites like the one you're making are terrible for SEO, because they just grab videos from big tube sites, and that means "duplicate titles and descriptions" which is bad if you ever want organic traffic, it just wont work well.

However if you upload the videos yourself and customise each video title and tags individually you'll benefit in the long run, especially if you find a good "somewhat hidden" source for your videos.

Just my two cents, but if you ever need any help, fire me a PM (since adult niches are my thing) :)

    Thanks for the replies guys! @savobaby & @sewacuz -

If traffic becomes a problem I can always put it on a scalable stack on AWS, should be able to handle anything, I have experience with sites doing 17k at once!

Will have a look into exoclicks! - will keep you updated if you want
