I'm pretty sure adult websites will always make money, but the market is seriously saturated. There may be a few specific niches that aren't totally drained, but any adult site is going to require a lot of work.

    Good luck :)

You're going to need a little more than a nice name dude.

The motto..For every minute a new idiot is born.
The adult industry will always be big. People will always be horny (dont tell me people will stop being horny), therefore there is always demand for d*ck & p*ssy; whether that be in magazines, movies et. al.

As others have said, porn will always have a market... a big market. As such, a lot of people will jump at it. When I first got into marketing about 10 years ago, I was originally going for porn promotion. I visited some sites, got a few ideas, made some contacts, and the I ran with it. For the first month or two, it was slow, but then I started seeing regular profits and some days/weeks some damn good profits in my opinion. However, the method quickly became saturated and I was lazy and enjoying the easy money at the time and I got run out quickly after about a year of doing it. I told myself that the market was saturated and there was nothing I could do about it and I didn't want to work so hard that I had no time for anything and a limited return. I was wrong, had I given the effort, I would have made a lot more off of the stuff I was doing. You need to adapt and find something new or work hard and make stuff work. Sometimes, it is simply finding that unique way of taking an old method that brings tons of traffic and monetizing it. Let me tell you, right now, I have several sites that I have built that are essentially on autopilot that I have a nice unique tweak to in order to monetize that have been making me a consistant income while I work on other projects. Nothing that is making me rich, but it is steady after some work and a nice way to monetize. There is always some weird niche out there that you could try to go after, but that isn't the way to go I don't think unless you plan on targeting that niche and producing unique content. Instead, find a method(actually, part of what I do is something I learned on this site), work that method, and see what you come up with.

Good advice antonio... I used to mail porn long time back.. paid good money back then, but I missed the heyday. Some of the guys I knew were making a killing like $50k a month or more in the early days. And yeah the the tube thing has to be hurting sites like hotmovies and others.
