    Hey everyone,

For those of you that have adult sites, have you noticed a drop in serps? I've been working hard on a site for just it's own keyword, Puba.com (keyword 'puba'), and it was on the front page near the top, but recently got pushed almost off the index. I thought it might have been sandboxed, but then I realized that a separate site that had no marketing to it, PubaParty.com a generic party website that was built, was also pushed back.

Any help on how to get back to the front page of this fiasco would be much appreciated.

I see what you mean about ranking for that keyword, I don't see your site no where.

Yeah, we were never number 1, even after doing a lot of re-work on the site to make it SEO friendly. I've been doing some back link building that may have triggered it, but I can't figure out how the hell to get it back to the front, it makes no sense.

When your site links to another site by hardlink or anchor keyword, you do use the keyword "Puba"?

Sometimes. But because its a very touch industry to battle against with other keywords, I've been anchoring with 'Pornstar Network' since its a fairly attainable phrase for our site.

I just submitted a 'reconsideration' for Google; because most likely it has to do with that.

I am in the same situation bro. I build an adult site in February this year. I have done good SEO working on it using a lot of tools (SenukeX, AMR, ScrapeBox, Backlink Energizer, BMD) and putting a lot of effort to stay under the Google radar and leaving no footprint and Till yesterday I've got PR1 on it and I reached with "camgirls", "cam girls" on Page 1 rank 4 and 9 and with"live sex show" was on page 2 rank 13. And yesterday BANG! Dunno what the hack happened cuz my website is totally gone from G. Deindexed also. I searched for it in G search with site:mysite.com and nothing. It's fucking gone.
Only my backlinks remained (from articles, press releases, web 2.0, forums profiles etc).

I really don't know what have happened....My site ranked slowly and steady, I've already experienced G dance in May and June and since then it just ranked slow and nice.

We all know Google secretly hates porn more than anything, so it's not a surprise. Try submitting a request through Webmaster Tools to get it re-evaluated; that's what I just did.

when Google announced that 35% serp change, my traffic went up about 20%. this is for light adult (sex toy keywords like dildos and how to use fleshlights, etc.).

When I've had problem with adult sites, I've added more content and double checked to make sure that I hadn't left detectable patterns (like the same footer links) - more often than not, correcting those two things helped bring them back. Not always, though - a few have never come back and some others have dropped to the "next level" (8-12 instead of 4-8) permanently.
If you're submitting a reconsideration request because of deindexing, be sure that you've changed something first.
