    Hello,

I am building, blog / website with adult gifs. I create gifs by myself, download video, edit in photoshop...
I want to put my own watermark on it, in some cases also remove original one.

I want to ask, can i get in trouble for that? Yes officialy it's not legal but can somebody sue me for that?

    Thanks

If it's not legal, they can sue you for that.

Yea that part is clear for me... I am asking for practical advise. I bet many people do that, but for tumblr, sex .com and other sites.

It depends on the original content producer.
Some of them are very strict about their content getting stolen that they will start sending you DMCA.
But if you are on an offshore host and have a DMCA policy page that offers to take down copyrighted content, you should be fine.

After all the tubes are filled with stolen Content from paysites. Damn tubes killed a very profitable industry.

By the way instead if covering the original studio/site's logo, why not add your watermark on the side?

Thanks, that is exactly kind of answer for which i was looking for!
Yes in some cases i will just put my watermark on the side. (that's totally legal right?)
But in some cases I want to remove them, because they are just shitty website or taking too much space.

Adding your watermark on someone else's video is never going to legal.
But by keeping their watermark unaltered will less likely to annoy the original content owner.
