    Hi Guys,

I am just about to launch my adult refer cam program on my landing page. This page will consist videos of cam girls etc. At the bottom of my website, I have "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement" as I checked most of these website has this statement. Will this be enough to keep me away from trouble?

What other legal possibilities will I need to know? And what else should I include in my website?

I am new to this industry and would like to get some feedbacks perhaps.

    Thanks

You can't just stick the statement on your website, you have to comply with it.

I.e. records "filed" for x number of years that they're legal, consensual (complying legally themselves at their own free will). A simple photo copy of their photo ID and a corresponding signature probably wouldn't work even if you were the originating party, so why would you think that linking (or re-instating whatever was previously uploaded) would be any different?

A DMCA notice would probably serve you better if you could afford that kind of attorney. Probably smarter just not to follow through anymore than you already have to prevent litigation if the site produces any cliques.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I will def. look into this.

Well its not really uploading actual videos of cam girls to be exact. I made my own promoting video consisting of 3-4 clips taking out 3-4 seconds of home recorded cam videos that were uploaded on a tube site. The wording / after affects in this video were all done by me.

Right. Remove everything before you get busted heels to balls on infringement if you're even just a blip on sonar. "... / after effects" means shit all, even in-between "cuts". Don't be a fucking dummy.

You can buy some webcam content cheaply on any of the adult forums - all of these sellers will provide the necessary 2257 docs. You can try clips4sale too - it's a good place to get in touch with cam girls that sell their content directly.

Thanks for the info. I'll start searching for these forums and start from there. I have also checked out the website you mentioned, I guess its hard to buy 1 minute preview clips as most of these contents are over 5-7 minutes long as I will probably only use 3-5 seconds of it.
