    Hi,

This is going to be my first attempt at making money online :p . I have been reading up a bit on this forum which finally motivated me to make an honest effort to make something that could be profitable.

The Plan : Create an adult site(wordpress) and drive traffic to it via social media accounts (Tumblr, Twitter , pintrest , instagram etc. ) . Monetize via the many networks out there.

I havent started yet apart from creating a few accounts.I wanted to run a few things by before getting started.

Are there any legal implications that i may be liable to for running an adult site. Would it be fine if i purchase hosting from another country with more lenient laws? if so could you suggest something?

Also could i get into serious trouble if i copy (steal content) from other sites( commonly found images and videos, torrents etc.)

Are there any other hurdles or implications that i should consider? Also if possible could you share some tips since i am starting off.

    Any help is really appreciated.

Create a Tumblr account, start taking sexy photos. Free! Within a couple days you'll have so many followers that you can start offering better pictures and video for PayPal donations (or any of the other "fund me" sites).

I know plenty of people who do this already.

In the real world, if you want to run your own adult site, you need money. Free sites will not allow you to do anything really heavy because of bandwith usage. Video is completely out.

You would need to get hosting that allows adult. If you are planning to run video, then you will need a dedicated server, because shared hosting simply doesn't have the resources needed. Whoever hosts the server will have to allow adult. Not all do.

You need someone to run the server 24/7 - so 3 people at say $60,000 a year to keep your server up, get rid of hackers and such. Or you could buy a hosting plan like Arvixe for $4 A month

You need a lawyer on retainer, because you will HAVE to keep kids out, and if any do slip in and a parent catches them, they could easily haul your butt into court.

    I Hope this helps!

Thanks for the detailed response :)

Tumblr seems ideal to get followers and stuff but donations as a sole source of income seems very unreliable. Do people actually donate? i was thinking of a normal tumblr type picture blog using wordpress or something since i would be able to put up ads there.

i need a lawyer on retainer though? :O thats something i cannot afford to get haha. wouldnt a simple disclaimer serve my purpose?
or i could always shut down the site and disappear :p

Also what is your take on just posting random images from around the net (using my discretion to pick images that i think dont need any permissions) .

Would it be possible to discuss this further on skype or something if you arent too busy? i would probably have a lot of doubts while getting into the finer details.

Why bother with building a website - get a good Twitter or Tumblr bot and spam away affiliated links like everybody else :)

Since everyone is spamming affiliated links, do they really convert? XD
It just seemed to me that a simple website would be more flexible in terms of monetization and control.
But since you suggested it i think i should give affiliated links a try. would you suggest adult or normal content?

Also id appreciate if you could point me toward some reliable bot solutions :)

    Thank you for the reply

Is there a tutorial or a journey thread for this method?
I would love to read more about this.
