I have a website that targets towards nightclubs and clubbers in my local area. So with that being said... I'll try to best describe what I want to do and if its possible...

On the left side of the website I have some ad space. I want to contact some local HAIR SALONS, SPAS, HEALTH STORES and CLOTHING STORES and tell them, "Listen... my site gets ranked first on Google for "Hair Salon", pay me $$$ and I will put your ad on the site"

Now... So far are you still with me?

I put there ad for the specific keyword, they pay me, its a win win for both since they'll get customers and I get cash.

NOW... my question is.... How do I rank for a keyword such as "HAIR SALON" if my site is about nightclubs and clubbers. In a way... they do relate, but how do I rank for those keywords? I'm a bit lost...

I mean I know I can rank for "Nightclubs" and "clubbers" and "Music" since I use those words a lot in my posts, but there is no way I can start saying "Hair Salon" 5 times a post, so what do you guys recommendd?

    Thank you so much.

Its this problem that I keep facing for like a month aalready, didn't know who to ask, so I decided to give it a shot at BHW

To put it simply you will never rank for the keyword

    Hairsalon
    or night clubbers
    or music

    Why??

Because from the sound of your post you don't know enough seo.

But there is a work around, Instead of hair salon or night clubs

Try going to Hair salons in Houston Texas as a keyword or night clubs in tampa bay.

Go long tailed instead of trying to compete with something your not even ready for.

Okay, but how do I rank for even LONG tail keywords? My site isn't meant for that, and I cant write those keywords in my posts because they wont make sense... so how do I go on about it?

Like lets say my site is about CORN, how do I make it so when people search "BARBIES" my site will appear there?

There's no white hat way of doing exactly what you want, but that's OK. The point is that you would be ranking for keywords that are researched by the same people that are potential clients of hair salons etc.
The ads would therefore be pretty targeted.

That is or should be the point, really.
