Adsense websites sell like crazy?!?

Would you classify this as an Adsense site?
dailypix.me/beauty/things-that-burn-calories

It just looks like it's fooling visitors into clicking the ads by placing the 'next' button near the arrow on text ads.

Why do people buy these websites that are generating $5 a day in Adsense revenue for $1000+,.. it would seem like a forever to get ROI.

What am I missing?

At $150 / mth in revenue I think it would be tough to get someone to pay $1500 as it would take them 10 months to get their initial investment back. That valuation rule of thumb is applicable for some site with higher revenue but I think is high with your revenue. Good luck

Honestly before I would buy any adsense sites off flippa, Id just create my own. Most of that bullshit they sell on flippa with the exception of 1 or two a month are just straight crap. Save the money, setup some wordpress blogs with articles add your adsense code and repeat. You will be thousands of dollars ahead of the game.

yeah if only it were as simple as keyword selection, good content and SEO. We'd ALL be doing it and raking it in.

Getting converting traffic from content sites is much harder than it used to be. "Build it and they will come" was once the mantra. These days there are no guarantees.

as soon as you start looking at how long it takes you to get your money back you are wrong. ROI is the return on the investment, not when you get it back.

$5 per day is $1825 per year on a $1000 investment i=r/v give you a 182% return on your money. If you are really good at buying stocks right now you might get a 5% return, money in your money market gets about .05% right now.

You can buy real estate all day long at a 10% return leverage it with a loan and maybe hit 15% cash on cash. So why such a high return on the adsense sites? See every post above this one talking about the risk you are taking.

People don't buy them like craze if they are not craze.
You should research each site and see can you improve it.

If site is making $5/day and you see that with some more investment and work you can make $10 or $15/day
then it's good investment.

Most important thing is to look how long site was making that $5/day profit.
Is it just one month or last 12 months.

If it was profitable long period you are more secure that it will stay longer.

1-2 years back, yes they sold for those amounts, but you wouldn't be wise to pay 10 - 12x these days. 4-5x is a more reasonable price these days.

If the website is legit (a lot of scam sellers) they go for it - after 200 days you will have passive revenue.
