I know theres a lot of myths and opinions on sabotaging adsense accounts but in my personal experience it is true. ive had a couple of legit accounts in my time that have been banned for bad clicks etc yet I did nothing at all. Ive also tested this on smaller sites and have seen their adds dissapear after a couple of weeks. I also tested this theory on someone I know and got their account banned as well.

So in my opinion you definetly can sabotage an adsense account.

How do you guys fair with this? it would be easy for someone to just go and click someones adds on purpose a lot or in a set pattern every day or so and make it look fake getting them banned. Im surprised competitors havnt used this tactic as much to get people banned.

Ill be making a new one in the coming months but im slightly paranoid about being sabotaged etc. You would think google would take precautions to detect this kind of behaviour but clearly they either dont or dont do it well enough.

    Thanks.

Clicking someones ad 100 of times is not going to get them banned. It just alerts Google of fraud clicking but the only time they will ban is if a site is a hazard to the advertisers.

I know that clicking 100 times is clearly fake im talking about purposely doing it. e.g. using known proxies and clicking say once a day and using ur own ip and clicking at set times etc maybe 2-3 times. it emulates a fraudulent account holder doing it.

Also my friends site was not a threatening domain it was a solid site that had a good alexa rank and a pr of 4. Still got it banned though.

    Spot on.

Click bombing would need to be done on a MASSIVE scale to flag larger sites.
