adsense or affiliate marketing

which is better, im making blogs and i have tried both but have made a little from adsense ads but made nothing from afffiliate marketing but maybe its something im doing wrong of course so i just want to know from those who are having great success tell me which is better and y....

I look at it this way... If your site sucks so bad that it makes others want to leave so bad that they start to look for links to get off your page than use Adsense. If your site is good and compelling so that people will desire the product you're selling through the affiliate, than do affiliate marketing. :banana:

It will also depends on the niche. On some niches you can make more money with adsense. Example selling Amazon physical products which costs less than $100. Amazon pays just 4% affiliate commission while many manufacturers are paying good amount/click on adwords. So you might make more money from adsense. Service niche (layers, attorney) also pays well if you for adsense.
Some niches like IM will make you more money if you go for the affiliate route than adsense since most of the webmasters won't click on an adsense ad.

ok thats good but let me also ask this, is there a list somewhere of high paying niches for adsense, i saw 1 b4 but dont know were the hell i saw it... i figure if im going to do adsense i should make the ugliest blogs or is it better to make minisites, and get paid more from the clicks....
