Adsense Method - Banned but Beautiful

When I first joined the blackhatter world a few years back, I created a few off-the-shelf template pages (the ones that came with my crappy website maker v2 software). I made one for travel, one for a ridiculously cheap homes, one for 4% mortgages, one for cheap car loans, and one for free child care. I made all kinds of too-good-to-be-true claims on the pages. $99 roundtrip flights to Europe, free child care, $20,000 mansions, etc. There were no links on my pages, just a lot of hype, nice images I found on the web, and adsense. People would get frustrated trying to figure out how to get information on my outrageous claims and eventually clicked the adsense links. My CTR was through the roof. I used Yuri's Craigslist Autoposter to post hundreds of posts on CL and Backpage and drive greedy idiots to my sites 24 hours a day. It was sometimes tedious fighting with CL all the time (email banning, website cloaking, IP rotating), but when I was making that kind of money, it was well worth it.

I made about $6000 before adsense suspended my account. You can get around the suspension easily the first time with a business account, so that was my big FU to Google. I'm not sure how many business accounts you can get away with registering, but theoretically, you can have as many as you want as long as they each have a unique EIN number from the IRS and a mailbox. I guess my point is, stop cowering at the almighty Google TOS and get your earns on. Account suspension is only a minor speed bump in this game.

Hm woulda liked to have seen CL 4 years ago . Actualy I woulda liked to have seen them back in 1995 when it says they where first registered .

Bet it was much easier to make money back then on CL .

What exactly was the reason for G suspending the account?

Back in 2006, CL was doing a lot of security changes, but it was nothing like it is now. I am sure there are other websites that would be just as effective for driving that type of traffic.

I believe I was banned because I had brand new websites, each getting thousands of visits a day from only two sources and there was no real content on the landing pages, just enough keywords to get relevant ads. You know how those turds at Google are, they never tell you what you are doing wrong, they just look down upon you from their high horse and tell you how things are going to be.

A good friend of mine drives all traffic through adwords ppc and other ppc campaigns. Google still temp suspended his account and told him his landing page wasn't unique enough. He made the proper adjustments and all was better. Google is nuts sometimes

i like your tags: adsense , banned , craigslist , money , posting

can almost make a sentence with the words: craigslist posting adsense banned money

So you got some of the money? I'm glad you raped them.

I had a very similar experience. I found out that law firms pay out huge amounts per click for things like large class action suits like mesothelioma. I made a page, like yours, with no links other than the adsense ads. I posted in the jobs available sections -manually, in about 10 cities a day saying that we were a new firm hiring administrative assistants and to email me their information. I sent them through a redirect to my site and told them to research the information on the page, giving me a CTR of about 80% and averaged about $400 per day. I was up to about $13,000 after my first month until they banned me two days before payment... I've been trying to come up with a new method for the last few months since then...

Erock- there's about 10,000,000 mesothelioma sites out there, how did you manage to make $13,000 from them???

with 3 posts?

I actually started an *auto insurance* blog (because it's a high paying keyword), and made about $.42 with it, in 1 WEEK!!!....

Shiiiit. $.42 a week? You git yerself another $.08 and you will be able to get buy two fancy new gumballs from the gumball machine.

If you want to try what I call the "active seeker method", try making an insurance page that is not too wordy, talks about how you pay only $100 a year for full coverage on your 2009 700 series BMW (watch any Billy Maze infomercial if you need marketing help), and without actually saying it, lead your readers to believe the information to get this amazing rate is located on your website. Since the only link is Adsense, logic dictates they will click on ads.

Because the jobs available listings on CL get so much traffic. I probably got about 75-150 inquiries per city each day. From there, I just responded (in normal business hours) to each person telling them to research the information on the site to help their chances of being hired. I think I ran into trouble because some people were clicking on every single ad... I was getting about $1.20 per click, and every so often I'd get a crazy $12 click or so....

The problem I see with this is that they will get so frustrated by not finding the information they need that they will click multiple links per visit before finally leaving. Too much of this will definitely raise a red flag with Google. It's no wonder your account was banned.

Anyone have any experience with about how many clicks you can get from one person (IP) in a given day, week, etc...

I don't know if there is exact number for this, but it doesn't look natural if there is many IP's who clicks more than once your ad within a day.

How about just removing the adsense code from your site half way through the day or whatever just to decrease your ctr and not look too suspicious to Google?

how about using a script that will only allow the user to click the ads once per 24 hrs?

think i've seen it somewhere.

I first got into BH by answering a CL ad to join a ring of over 50 - 60 bloggers. We each created 10 blogs and had a list of 500 -600 in a randomized order. Every week the leader would send you out a # to start at and you would click down the list about 20-30 clicks per day. That way each person was getting around 50+ clicks or so per day and was making a good $100 a day on adsense. I was banned exactly 3 days before my payment was to be sent and it sucked balls.

Wasnt a bad idea, I was dealing with some idiots in 3rd world countries who were click bombing others though and everything started to fall apart right as I was getting banned.

Any interest in setting up another adsense ring? Just bigger and smarter... It could work people...

I have access to my old friends acct now and might get back into the adsense game.
