I have one 300X250 box in the right hand, top of the fold. My site is very new, not done any off page seo. Been running adsense for 15 days so far.

    I get around 50 - 120 unique's a day.

I know its very early days but is it normal to get 1 click in 1845 impressions?

The ads at a mix between txt and display. They where display only for the first 10 days when I got my click! lol

My niche is not a high cpc one, in fact its pretty shit. My ads are showing random crap, my click was 5 cents.

My niche has a lot of traffic and my site is picture based.

    Any ideas, tips etc?

Please no black hat stuff or scripts! I want to keep my adsense account.

Usually picture based websites are hard to convert, so it's not really a surprise you get such low clicks.

Move your ads to a central position and see if you start getting clicks. If you do, then your traffic is legit and it's just a matter of optimizing the looks and placement of your ad.

If you don't get any clicks even if you move the ads to the center, it means you got ghost traffic.

PS> Make sure your images are squeaky clean family-safe. Image sites can get adsense banned in an instant....

What's ghost traffic mate? My traffic does click stuff just not the ad.

Because of my site layout if I place the ad in he centre it'll look really spammy.

Is your website a blog? If so, putting Adsense right above, right below, or within the articles seems to work better for CTR.

Placing the ad at the center is just a test. We call it A/B testing, you change the ads around and see what happens. Don't leave them there, just test.

Ghost traffic is what the name implies. Robots, zombies, ghosts, etc...roaming your site.

Review the placement of your ads and place them at a central location so that everyone sees it. Consider even changing the ads frequently based on your site content. Make sure you do not involve too much image content on your site as it may get your ad sense account banned.
