I have a website on a blogger account which is the site I want to monetize, let's call it gmailacc-1

Because the site didn't qualify for Adsense, I purchased a brand new Adsense account from the marketplace at these forums. This Adsense account came with a new email address pre-setup for me. Let's call this gmailacc-2

I logged into my Adsense dashboard and added the blogspot site from gmailacc-1 as the owned site.

But when I log into gmailacc-1 through the blogger dashboard it still says "this blog doesn't currently qualify for adsense"

So I had the idea to invite my gmailacc-2 as an admin to my blogger website and then login into my blogger dashboard using gmailacc-2 and still under the earnings tab it says "this blog doesn't currently qualify for adsense".

I tried clicking the sign-up for adsense then choosing login in if you already have an account but still no luck.

I have had to resort to just creating a banner and copying the html code from adsense into an html widget and dock it onto my blog.

I was hoping to have the ads displayed between posts option but it will not allow me because it doesn't think it's qualified.

Also the banner I added through the html widget option is just displaying a generic adsense banner, so I am not sure if it's set up correctly.

Can anyone help me get my head round this, it's stressing me out!

Don't use blogger. $12 will get you a year of hosting and a free domain name. Why risk all your hard work when blogger can delete it all at a moments notice?

You shouldn't have the adsense issues with this either... As long as your content is original, not crap, and TOS are followed.

Make le a good start. Good luck!!

Listen to this man! He knows what he's talking about!

Blogger seems like a decent platform at first, but it's quite limited - put yourself in a position to succeed with a better set-up.
