    Hello BlackHatWorld, this will be my first written journey;

The reason why I decided to write this is because I was motivated after reading bluematter's guide which was quite interesting, and inspiring even; as the title says, I am a 19 year old lazy(for the most part) person and I have had it with myself with the shortcuts and that isn't going to lead me anywhere in life.

This journey I will be trying to achieve a minimum of $100 dollars per day with Adsense.
I will lay out what I have done so far, and what I will be doing on a daily basis.

I am a programmer so I took a month and wrote my own blog from scratch, it doesn't have all the features like wordpress but it is perfect and looks very professional and better than a lot of blogs out there, although that's not the most important part.

    What I have so far...

    I have a blog with:
    Article Count : 15
Amount of words on each : 500+
Keyword Density : Maximun of 2% with related keywords thrown in throughout the article
Images: At least 1 with Alt Tag and Title as Exact Aimed keyword + related keywords
    Link Structure: domain/id/article-name-goes-here/
    Adsense: On website

    The Plan

    Tired Link building

    Tier 1 [MANUAL]:

    • 1 +300 word Welcome Article
    • 1 500+ word Article + link to inner page/home page
    • 3-4 250+ word articles pointing to non-competition authority
    • 1 image for all articles
    • 1 video
    • About me Page
    - Will consist of high PR backlinks from No Hands SEO
    - PDF's
    - Wiki's

Tier 2 will include the following:

    • [best quality] spun articles pointing to tier 1

    Pinterest:

    • I currently have an account with 3,300k followers which doesn't bring in too much traffic sadly(30 daily visitors), but within time hopefully as it grows I will gain more followers and more earnings if possible.

    Daily Accomplishments

    • Search for Long Tail Keywords with: Low competition(200+ monthly searches), PPC: $1+ and aim daily articles towards these long tail keywords.
    • Create minimum of 1-2 high PR web 2.0 for each article that I post.
    • Post images to Pinterest

I will be using the following tools to help with the process of link building[only tools I have]

    • No Hands SEO
    • Scrapebox
    • SeNuke XCr
    • Captcha Sniper

(!) I will post my monthly earnings here, hopefully there will be earnings.

Good luck with your journey. You need to focus on the end goal. You say you are a lazy person, you personally need to work on this. Don't just go crazy doing what others have done. You won't get the same results. You need to create a plan, have goals, milestones. That's why many kids fail at IM, no plan of attack just rush in. Also you need to think as a business not as person. Yeah you will be happy with $100 a day. But ask any business owner how much they make a day. Only poor people focus on how much they earn a day.

Focus on building a steady income of $35,000 a year after costs. And you will do great.

My words are not to rain on your parade but rather to inspire you to grow. Good Luck.

That is exactly why I will be forcing myself to update this thread with as much information involving my journey. I understand about just jumping in and I have definitely learned from my mistakes in the past but I spent quite a few weeks learning as much as I could and I feel more than ready to put it in play and be able to inform others of my actions. I think $100 a day is a perfect goal to begin with, by accomplishing such goal I will be motivated enough to continue upon the path of success, so I completely see what you mean, I make sure to take even the negative and see it's positive and everything you said had no downside whatsoever so I appreciate your reply and wisdom, thank you.

:] Thank you deedee, it is definitely overwhelming up to this point but I sure hope to overcome this wall that is ahead. Did you ever accomplish your goal when you tried this "method" or something close?

Thank you erickishere, I've read your journey on social media traffic, definitely something I was aiming to accomplish as well so I'll definitely be applying the same method if possible.

The laziness thing you mentioned will really ruin your life haha. Remember that everyone has it and there never comes a time when you have 'dealt with it' - the impulse to do dumb shit will always be on the back (or front) of your mind and the battle must be fought anew every day.

IMO focus on the social more, 30 visits daily is not a bad start at all.

I think that especially in the adsense-blog-with-google-traffic style method you can expand and increase your income quite easily once you know how it works. After having built 1 blog that earns you 50-100 per day, you can just jump into another niche with another blog and do the same there while maintaining the first blog with little effort.
Biggest obstacle in my oppinion is getting the first blog done that gets traffic and generates money, but all I know is purly theoretical at this point (I have only learned how NOT to do it for the past 6 months, but feel prepared for my first working project now).

I'll be starting my first journey within the next days, using adsense-blog-with-google-traffic as well. I'll just be going for niche-authority instead of microniche, as KHero inspired me a lot with his 'go-broad-not-deep' thesis (but actually, I am going broad AND deep now since I'm a fan of targeting long tails specifically).

So, good luck with your journey. Maybe we can exchange some tips on how it works out within the next weeks :)

That is exactly what most people do here, the point of it is to learn what works and to put aside what does not, simply gaining more knowledge in the field. If you do succeed with your first blog, it is highly unlikely that you'd make the same mistake with your second blog if you truly are motivated to make it work.

That is the biggest obstacle but once you're over that then it gets much easier, it is just tedious work overall but well worth it.

Definitely, I will be checking your journey whenever you get to it. Good luck as well.

Thank you, it can be overwhelming at first due to the fact that you don't see too much traffic so there isn't much conversion but I think that once you have a good flow of traffic and know what to do, you can even include amazon or clickbank to make more money and more chance of conversion.

Well, I don't have much to say about this topic but from what I have found it purely from gathering data is that even though EMD's does help with serp, domain authority and quality content is what really matters now.

    UPDATE:

My CTR wasn't working much for me; around %0.09, I decided to switch things up a bit.

Included two responsive ads; one on top of article text and another below the last word of the article; text only no image.

Reason: A few months back before I redesigned my website my CTR was much higher than now, made the most money from two ads inside the article instead of above the fold and the sidebar.

Currently my main source of traffic stands from social network, Pinterest only.
