So my Adsense application was approved in the first stage and they asked me to put an ad on the website and when I did, a couple of days later, I got an e-mail that the application is disapproved.

Reason: Inappropriate language: We've found that your website contains content that isn't in compliance with our program policies. We don't allow websites with excessive profanity or potentially offensive content to participate in Google AdSense. Please review our policies for a complete list of site content not allowed on webpages.

There is absolutely nothing 'profane' or 'offensive' on the website. I checked their content guidelines and found out what type of content they don't allow:

Adult contentContent that advocates against an individual, group, or organization
    Copyrighted material
    Drug, alcohol, and tobacco-related content
    Hacking and cracking content
Sites that offer compensation programs ("pay-to" sites)
Sites that use Google Brand features
    Violent content
    Weapon-related content
    Other illegal content

My site does not have any of that.

Should I bother resubmitting the application or should I just look for some other way to make money? Using Adsense on this site wasn't the primary focus. I just wanted to get the Adsense approved then I was going to build/buy a few Adsense niche sites.

Possible that comments on your site contain foul language?

Might seem a daft question but if your 100% sure there is nothing on your site that you have done then maybe some comments are the issue, or maybe even videos you have

Yes, you can contact them and re-apply for it. Did you verify all the content of your website? Do you own the copyright of the material you post on your website? Also, check for malicious or any suspicious script before re-applying.
