(Not sure where to post this as the Adsense section is still unavailable...)

Got an email hours ago with the subject "Google AdSense Account Disabled." Seemed legit to me as the sender was: The first paragraph of the message had this:

"...we have detected invalid activity on your AdSense account and as a result it has been disabled."

The message had several hyperlinks which all point to various
    Code:
    https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/xxxx
pages so I'm discounting the likelihood of this being some sort of phishing scam. But I'm not getting how this is possible when I don't have an Adsense account associated with my email address in question in the first place. Well, at least not that I can remember.

Is there any explanation for this?

Whenever you get an email like this just open a new tab and check the account like that. Don't click no link and it's all fine ;)

No, sir, you're not getting it. I don't have an Adsense account associated with my email address in question. So I have no ads of my own to click nor whatever system I will have any use for.

It's a scam mate, those phishing emails land daily just delete it and forget it. Or report it if you feel inclined.

It's just a scam e-mail. You should always search the e-mail address and the e-mail you got on the internet if you have doubts. That way, you can easily figure out whether such a phishing scam exists or not.

Beats me too. Well, I chose to just ignore it and nothing followed. :)
