    Hey guys,

    I was just wondering.

Adsense states that you can have 3 ad slots on your page. But what about a mobile ad?
Since these are not shown on a desktop version, and vice verca, am i allowed to insert a extra single mobile ad slot on my site?

    Thanks

    Isn't your theme/template responsive M1ndfluX?

The rule for basic accounts at AdSense is: 3 ads on 1 website + a few text based ads.

But if you have responsive website, your ads should show on mobile phones too.

    Hi Boriss.

Thanks for the reply, yeah sure the sites i am working on right now are responsive but for some reason they aint showing the reponsive ones :(
They do on the desktop version though.

So what you are saying i can implement a single mobile text ad?

If your website is responsive, the ads should show on mobile, only if your ads are like 300x250 (square ads) - I don't remember seeing a 720x90 ad on my mobile.

But this ads 300x250 (square ads) definitely should show on mobile. One more thing... try using the "responsive ads" from Google AdSense, test them and check on your mobile if they are showing.

Thanks Boriss, yeah i have those set up. Maybe it takes more time but my guess was that since they were already showing on the desktop hey were also active on the mobile.

If the ads are new, give it 5-7 minutes to appear on your website and phone.

If your websites are wordpress based you can use the Ad Inserter plugin. Its a great plugin that you can set up to show different ads ( size, etc ) to different devices.

Like you can assign 300x250 ad for pc, tablets and assign a 200x50 for mobile. This was an example but you get the idea.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback, appreciated.

Wizard, i was just coming back to this thread to write that the problem was the adsense plugins i tried. WP insert and Whydowork were causing the problems.

I installed Adinserter and now its working great. Thanks guys!
