None of the mods are online right now. BHW needs more mods.
Just choose to ignore them and not open it. Report it once you see it and then will remove it.
yup i do that often, but this is something different.lol
I got it . . . Thank You!
i didnt get the message im so lucky
It's getting spammed at the front page so i don't see why you aren't getting the message..
That kitchen spammer is a lifetime new member! lol. As soon as he/she gets banned then there is a new account and a similar spam thread a few hours/days later. Just keep reporting the thread with a pointer to the spammer's profile page and mods will do the rest.
But seriously, this is stupid, spamming a internet marketing community with such offers. Just wasting time and money i guess.
That's a valid point. Maybe ghosting the account and hiding it's posts would be a better way of solving the problem because as you said, as soon as it is banned it makes a new account and spams again. If the bot continued to post, the owner would think they were being successful and we would most likely see less spam from him.
He most likely has a VB bot that spams any forum he can find on the web. It makes accounts wherever possible in the hope it will create him leads.
May be the spammer is an existing member under another forum name and when he sees that mods are not present, he/she creates a new account+thread to keep it alive for a while (i.e., until one of the mods throw him out)... hmm...
Whattttttttttt. If they see it is successful they will spam more, this is first rule of spammer.
In that case we will require some internet forensics on the team.lol
Check this in Google search and you'll find how much and frequently he has spammed:
check this in Google to see the number of related banned spammers:

We need the detective to crack this case O_O.
The Kitchen company are pretty notorious in the UK. They are autobotting the shit out of everywhere and are unlikely to stop.
My suggestion ? Add kitchens to the blocked words so nobody can start a thread with kitchens in it. I mean apart from that spammer who else would ever need to open a thread about kitchens ?
That's possible but very unlikely that a BHW member would use BHW to advertise kitchen installation services.
Most bots are only set up to create and post from a few accounts per forum and only create new accounts when the previous ones become unable to post. That is why I suggested that, if you didn't ban the accounts but instead blocked their posts from other members view, everyone would be happy. The spam bots would continue to spam and we wouldn't have to put up with seeing them post everywhere.
Agreed Kellogs. I think the spammer is targetting this IM site only to get his message across the huge numbers of BHW visitors. Even if he gets a 2 or 5 minutes window (his thread is alive), I think he gets a lot of eyes to it. That could be the only reason he is targeting BHW so frequently.
Also he is not using the word "kitchen" but instead uses something like "k i t c h e n" (with spaces), so the word kitchen cannot be blocked and stop him effectively. We only need to report and he goes out. He may be using a different IP address also each time... whatever. May be he likes this site more than anything else and can't stay away from us for more than a few days!
May be we should find out who he really is and send him something more appropriate soon! May be someone from UK can visit his home and deliver it personally...
he is a google scrape bot.
he goes to google find some related url's and then post them .
you are trying to lower the meaning of word "detective"
