if add a product to a review title am i hurting my ranking chances, ive been on page 3 in two weeks just using something like

    The Product Review

i want to add a model to it

The Product Review - Model Number

am i hurting my chances of ranking adding the model #

i bought a good review site that ranked me so quickly, but now i can write my own articles and still rank on the 3rd page in 1 or 2 days with no backlinks or anything

now that i think about i cant see that doesnt do anything but good which was why i added the models in the first place. but a couple hours ago i wanted to ask so im asking to hear it from you guys in case you know

It isn't going to hurt your rankings, but I don't think it will necessarily help for the main/core product/keyword you're trying to rank for.

Title tag is still a big signal for ranking, so I think the biggest benefit you'll see is ranking better for longtail keywords/search queries that include the model/model number.

The best thing you can do is get more links, natural/high quality ones, which can be difficult for review pages if the content isn't valuable and outstanding. Next best thing would be to improve your content.

Another good title tag trick that can increase your CTR would be to add a date or year to your title, ie:

The Product Review 2017 - Model Number
The Product Review August 2017 - Model Number
The Product Review Aug 2017 - Model Number
