I'm in a niche where all the RSS feeds SUCK. Straight text.

I'm using Autoblogged. It pulls in straight text and posts it. Is there a way to inject the feed with images?

Basically, the thing is, I want images in my posts and images in my excerpts on the home page. I have the Thumbnails for Excepts plugin but that only works if there is an image in the post!

I tried adding a random image to my single post template but that is outside the database.

    Any ideas?

That's what I's like to do too. There is a plugin that will do that but it has to go in the WP template and thus doesn't add to the actual post. This one pulls from a directory:
