Is there any option for adding social share buttons in WordPress without any plugins.
You can use the source HTML code to put...you need better programming..you can find it on youtube...
you can use any of the free button sites like this: http://sharethis.com
You can also create a function that will add it. Depending on the theme you use, the function will go either to the functions.php file or a designated functions file for customization.
Hahah i like it how you guys give the most hard to do advices.
Listen pal...go to google images...writhe facebook , or twitter or whateva you want.Choose from search option "Size" and click "Icon".
Save the icons you need to your computer. Now go to Wordpress>Apperance>Widgets.Grab a Text/Html Widget and drag it to your right in the list. Now inside that click "Add Media" and add the icons you downloaded.Click on the icon and then click the "link" button like the one you have in "Posts" and just paste your "Facebook" profile link there. Its exaclly how you link Photos or Text when you make a new Post.Only its done with small icons on a widget.
OP wants the sharing buttons and not just an image that will link to his/her social profile.
Tip: read before you give an arrogant advice.
They are practically the same thing.Thats what i did when i had the same problem.Ive solved it in 5 min like this...
There are buttons on google images as well.
Will the widget be in the sidebar or in the post?
it will be in the side bar depending on your theme.Check out my website and see where twitter is put
LOL. All you have is an image pointing to your twitter profile. This is not a sharing button. In addition, the method you suggested puts it in the sidebar and not in the post area. I'm pretty sure this is not what OP is looking for.
omg you are absolutelly right.he did ask for a share button.
Separate names with a comma.
