Google is learning towards REPUTATION as one of the most important signals they will use to determine where they will rank your website and you will need to [ADD] this as part of your SEO onslaught. Its a fact, that REPUTATION is one of the most important signals being taught in the Google Reviewers manual right now and is something G is heavily learning towards in order to determine your rankings.

So what is REPUTATION? Is all about whos talking about your site. Whos talking favorably and whos talking negatively about your site. In fact, there is even a way to determine this manually. The Reviewers manual clearly shows the search terms they are using to determine this.

    +yourdomain.com -yourdomain.com

From this, a reviewer will be able to determine whos talking about your site, if they are talking about your site and what negative comments exist about your site. It even states that a manual reviewer must give you a rating based on the above information if they happen to come across your site during a review. WOW!

    Its a very interesting fact!!!

Is your mind racing with what you need to do NOW to ensure the survival of your site?

I think reputation is a factor but not the sole factor. Besides all of this crap is made up by Googliath from month to month anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if the next big "it" item in SERPs is how many dead squirrels you have posted on your site.

How many dead squirrels does your site have?

Not exactly. While likes and tweets are anonymous reputation will be something that has to be quite physical otherwise why create a search option for it? No, its going to involve something more than that.

Google cannot crawl FB likes, and can barely crawl retweets (and does not do so actively)...

Think about how many bogus negative reviews are out there for big businesses. Look at Bank of America - on of the largest banks in the states - but millions of regarding reviews. This would give any idiot out there to do potential damage to any brand they did not like. Sucks. Makes me hate google more by the day. They have way too much power to control everything Internet related. Scary.

I have a client ranking #2 for extremely competitive keyword, among few other ones.
His reputation is the worst you can imagine, everyone is bashing on their service.
It is so bad that we cant remove them from listings making positive reviews.

But they are still killing it with their niche keyword.
