Just a quick question i was hoping someone could answer.

A couple of years ago i set up an account with hostgator and started of on the road of internet marketing. Needless to say the site was cr@p and a waste of time. It wasn't thought through and now just sits in cyber space somewhere. Since then i have created many sites all of which have been add on domains to my first site.

My question is, are my sites ranking in the serps effected by the fact they are add on domains? Will the fact that i spammed the shit out of my first few sites mean that my newer (white hat) sites which are add on domains be effected?

If so, where is the best place or best way of getting my white hat sites working on there ow but not costing me a fortune?

    Hope this makes sense!

I have done thae same thing for several years without seeing much ill effect on my WH sites, though now I set up seperate hosting for each account, just because getting it right the first time is so important.

Did that after It became profitable to do it that way.

So you pay $10 (or what ever you pay) for each site in order to have it on a separate account?

Well the official answer is no it has no effect. the real answer is yes it does. At least this is what I was told when working for one of the big oversellers. It has to do with an addon simply being a directory inside the root domain that just has an A record pointing to it.

That is the way I set up many of my newer sites that I pretty much know are going to be profitable.

When I started out, I couldn't afford to do that, it would have been a waste.

Now that I have a better grasp on what makes everything work, it is easier for me to do this and keep them all separate.

    Also makes flipping easier.

But if you are still trying to get your sites profitable, it really does not do that much for serp position.
