I don't think i need to introduce you guys to who Kim Dotcom is.

I tried to post a share in the BHW member downloads today, and altough i TOUGHT i read all the rules, i did not realise that there was a list of approved bhw upload sites, and got criticized for using mega.co.nz as the download link.

I see great sites over there, such as mirrorstack and Mediafire (my second favorite), but was wondering why mega.co.nz was not a part of the approved list?

It has blazing fast speeds (faster than mediafire for most cases), NO advertising at all and a client-side encryption system, which tend to make the download links last longer...
Who WOULDN'T want to use Mega.co.nz?!

I think an update to that thread would be pertinent, for a guy that tries to follow the rules and all.

I try to download with an older browser and the site refuse! They want me to update the latest version.
Maybe it is a great site but i don't plan to update my web browser only in order to download from them...

    I absolutely agree with OP

Mega has everything fixed that you could want.

Mega Upload used to be approved, this is just a better version with the same ethos and same people in charge.

The download speed I get is twice that on other sites, and the knowledge they encrypt everything and will not share data with anyone is just brilliant.

That's a common practice in websites that believe in progress and web standardization, having an old browser compromises your security and limits you from using the latest web technologies, of which most modern web apps use (e.g Mega.co.nz)

You should seriously consider updating your browser

Why would you not want to update your browser, it seems illogical not too?

Also love the site; use it for complete legit reasons.

Not sure how it is on the other side - I've had a few people when receiving links don't 'get it'.

If sending images you need to zip them otherwise the receiver needs to save every one. No idea why a bulk download option isn't there.
