Add fbook Like buttons to your WP blog

    I added all the delicious bookmarks, diggs, etc. and no one ever really uses them. I doubt very many people use them, so unless you have a ton of traffic already, it doesn't help that much. That or the content has to be really, really good.

    It's worth it seeing that Facebook is now more visited than Google. Good post. I remember seeing this a while ago on the Mashable.

    It maybe crap - but this can bring in a ton of traffic - it's very simple math:

    Everytime someone clicks 'Like' it appears on all their friends profiles. Let's assume everyone has 100 friends on Facebook - lets also assume that 20 of those people will click the link through to your site, and then let's assume that 5 of those click the 'Like' button:

    1 person clicks 'Like' = 20 new visits to your site. Quarter of these click 'Like'.
    Your link then appears in front of 500 people.
    100 click the link = 25 click like = your site appears in front of 2500 people.
    500 click the link = 100 click like = your site appears in front of 10000 people.

    And so on. FB and the 'Like' button makes it much easier to make a page go viral.

    Don't forget that when they click 'Like' you also gain access to *all* their personal information, which then gives you targeted marketing.
