I have been using adcenter for about and year now, and one thing I have noticed is that the stats on one campaign don't look right. It's for a keyword with 128k monthly exact searches and 850k phrase searches and a CPC of around $5 for number 1 position.
This particular campaign is targeting the most expensive and competitive keywords out of all my other campaigns, and for some reason, with low bids of only .40, adcenter tells me my avg position is around 2, but that can't be right. I am not receiving anywhere near the amount of impressions I would receive if I really was in the #2 spot. I searched bing and yahoo for some of the keywords it's telling me that I am getting the top 3 spots for, but I'm not even on the page when I look. My CPC is really low at only .12 and my CTR is over 2%, compared to every other campaign at .35 or so, and this campaign makes me the least amount of money.
Any ideas on what is going on here? I hope I have been clear with what is happening.
