The Adblockplus plugin blocks my affiliate links (bad neighborhood niche). So every link that should open in a new tab with target="_blank" is instantly closed. It's only working if I remove the target="_blank" code, but that's not really an option for me.

Is there a way to bypass the adblockplus plugin, other that asking the visitors to turn it off?
The authority sites in my niche could bypass it somehow.

The issue is that the adblockers read your script tags and remove the code from the DOM, either through .remove() or .hide()
Unless you have some coding knowledge to circumvent them, there is no easy solution for you.

Darn it. I just read that this post is over a year old. Oh, well. Maybe this will help someone else.

Are you using wordpress? Can you use a redirect?

So, say you are using wordpress, you can get pretty link plugin and send the link to one of your website pages (http//example.com/waytoaff) then have that page redirect to the afflink? (http//externalsite.com/youraffextension) might that work?

Many of the publishers, disable their website functions,if adblock is detected. You can do the same. But your product should have that much demand.
