So, what you'd accomplish this week?

I'm back from some "lighter" weeks. The past 2 weeks have been semi-holiday as the weather has been freaking awesome here in southern Ontario.

A lot of my weekly progress is revolving around a single product I built. I've been turning down a lot of clients and inquiries, and abandoning idea-stage and MVP-stage projects lately to focus.
Made my first big scheduled payout to clickers. It was a few hundred dollars, spread out.
    We added some new features.
Word of mouth also got me a few new sales. I am doing zero promotion as of right now.
I've got to set up a corporation next week for this.
Hopefully it'll be profitable next month.

In addition, I've been doing 1 freelance coding gig for Amazon/Ebay stuff. I wasn't going to take the offer, but it paid well enough.

I have an exam next Tuesday, finishing a summer course, so I'll be concentrated on studying for that until then.

What have you been up to?

Haven't done anything IM related this week, but did clean out alot of junk I had been saving onto for as long as 15 years on my way towards becoming a minimalist.

    • Obtained another new ORM client. I'm considering myself 100% booked up now. Put all personal web projects on the backburner while I ramp the two new clients I've obtained these past few weeks up to peak. Any more on my plate and my productivity will start to suffer. I'm not about that life.
    • Been doing a lot of writing. Between posting on here, working on content for clients, emails, and working on my own personal writings, I'm probably averaging at least 10,000 words per day. Bring it on.
    • Continued striving towards organizational efficiency. It's a never ending struggle. Especially with everything I'm juggling.
    • Had my birthday. 26 now, feeling incredibly old.
    • Had my three year real-world-job anniversary (today). Ooh-rah.

A month or so ago I cut down two ugly trees on the North West side of the property that looked like Abbie Hoffman hair that were about 20 feet tall or so and this week I got rid of the stumps by setting up a perimeter of concrete blocks and old broken pieces of concrete we have laying around, filled the area inside with charcoal and burned them out.

The yardstick is there so you can see about how big the area was that I burned.

Using charcoal to burn them down left decent sized holes in the ground so I filled them with bags of top soil. One hole was a good foot or so deep and the other was around 8 or 9 inches deep. I'll borrow my neighbor's roller, attach it to my lawn tractor and level it out over the weekend and then lawn that area up in the fall when things start to cool down a little bit and it will look pretty decent.

Started another 2 sites this week - one is going to be an authority site that monetizes with Adsense, Clickbank, and Amazon Associates and the other is an MNS monetized through Amazon Associates.

I also realized that I have been unintentionally procrastinating by spending way too much time on BHW and considering that as time worked on my sites. Considering that I have been spending a ton on content lately, I'm going to be taking the majority of that time spent procrastinating and start writing more of the articles/reviews that go on my sites. I'm not entirely sure when or why I got to the point where I'd rather pay $40+ for a 2,000 word article rather than writing it myself; especially considering I can easily bang out an engaging 2,000 word article in less than an hour. I have a lot of downtime during my 9 - 5 and could easily spend some more of that time writing rather than messing around on BHW, re-checking SERPs/earnings/analytics that I've already checked several times before in the day, and other random Internet perusing.

With that said, I'm going to be outsourcing the content needed for the authority site to @BlogPro. However, I'll be writing everything on the MNS. Even if I write things in stages, such as in 700 word increments, articles and reviews will get churned out quickly. I've found that I get incredibly impatient and want sites setup immediately, which leads to me getting burned out on writing. I need to learn to relax with that.

I got some money from selling some old silver items I have no use for. Donated some clothes and printers, and had to dispose of my old desktop for security measures.

Happy birthday! Yah, you're in the later half of your 20s. Like a real adult!

They were dry enough to burn completely?

Not really, I had to do it in stages. Start the fire at about 5:30 AM and let it go all day long until it burned out completely by itself. That would dry the wood some and then I would clear the area of the ashes and redo it the next day.

It took 4 days of fires and the last day they stayed hot until noon or so the next day and you could actually see down in the hole the red embers just burning roots out. Part of the process in the early stages was drilling holes diagonally through the tree with a long 1/2' drill bit so that the hot air from the coal fires flowed up though them.

It was not a set it and forget it Ron Popeil process.

I'm going to start a gurutard blog. I've decided my thoughts are too good not to share.

My plan for this month is to create 5 micro authority sites with 1000-2500 monthly search each and do some on-page and buying 30 content (800-1500 words) for each sites.

    Ordered and corrected 5 articles.
Launched my website, made all the about pages, etc.
Made like $0.60 on SerpClix ;)
Scraped about 150 Tumblrs but haven't registered any.
Registered 6 PBN domains, a few from @Nargil and a few from my own collection. One had the exact anchors I needed so I 301d it.
Uploaded a few remixes for my YouTube channel, made 10,000 backlinks to them. Hopefully they will go viral.
    Grew 250 subscribers on YouTube.
    Made no money.
Started my workout routine and eating healthier (except a bag of chips and a pizza).

This week has been pretty great. When I deposited my income to my bank they froze my accounts for suspicious activity because it was "too much money". Not bad for a service I started a month ago :)

    My week so far -

    1. Got inundated with orders for my content service. This Thursday I delivered like 80% of them, so yay!
    2. Sent my first 3 kindle books from my journey for Kindle formatting. (That happens literally 10 feet from me, right inside my office and I never really "sent them" anywhere, I just copied them to the office intranet - but saying "I sent them!" sounds so cool!)
    3. Got content up on the 28 sites I am doing for my other journey. Got some great social going for them too, so that's looking nice!
    4. Traced a client that has been evading me for the past 4 months for payments. Threatened to walk into his new office and cause a scene. I never intended to follow through with my threat. But he did get me a Post-dated cheque and has asked me to deposit it on the 14th. Let's see. At least, now I know where he works.
    5. Have had this app idea for a few months. Finally sat down to draw a blueprint and it is looking good so far. I have a kickass inhouse development team, so why not put them to some use.
    6. Also, commissioned covers for the first 10 of my journey kindle books. Had a small meeting with my inhouse designer and a friend who is a really talented illustrator and photographer. Have asked to come up with some crazy shit together. Should be fun.
    7. Began working on a small series of stories for the Creepypasta thread

I find that a bit hard to believe. Considering banks actually survive on deposits. But whatever good for you!

it's a small credit union. Their automatic algorithms (from what they told me) are supposed to trigger when there's a deposit over X amount as some state/local regulation requires it. I didn't look too much into it as it was resolved pretty quickly.
