After selling over 40k+ (with only this account) and over 600 transactions, I'm still considered a "New Seller" by Paypal...

What a joke...

Nice thing that I have several stealth accounts though :)

PayPal are a joke. It feels like someone made a fantastic platform, then someone else who didnt know anything about web technologies took it over and just kept it going by cobbling new bits onto it as best they could and only when absolutely necessary. Now it feels like half of it is broken and even paypal dont know how to fix it.

I had an issue last year where I had the wrong business name and could not change it. Each time I spoke to paypal support, they just did exactly what I was doing - logging in and clicking on change name and getting an error and then saying to me oh, we cant change it either. Oh my god! It literally took me 6 months to get that issue resolved.

you are very lucky if Gaypal does not limit your account, and ask for Invoices, proofs

They're making a lot of money on interests from the money they keep on hold.

So any idea why? Your picture seems to show you meet all the requirements to be a legit seller, why are you still marked as new? Did you contact them?

I don't remember the exact details (i.e. the length of time) but I went through the exact same recently. I used to be an eBay seller with excellent metrics but had to close up shop due to health reasons. Fast forward about five years and I went to get everything re-established and I had the 21-day hold back in effect. After some time on the phone with support I was A.) Unsuccessful getting the hold removed and B.) Informed it will take I think about 90 days of eBay selling with excellent metrics and reviews to get the hold lifted. I've always noticed, though, I couldn't push PayPal around like I could eBay.

Yeah that happens, 90 days might be forunate actually, I had a 180 day hold at one point for no reason.

Well, I've had this account for years and I have received amounts from $1 up to $10k. I guess age (5-6 years) + volume is key to not have it limited. Havent had any limitations and VERY low chargeback ratio.
