AC Mass Submitter (Reviewers wanted!)

Danny, can you elaborate abit more on the "Get article" feature ? On second thought, i think it might be useful or modification can be made to make it better. Thanks

Now that carl has released his for free, i think you really need to add an article formatter tool to your submitter otherwise its just not as good as carls. and his is free.

And for the record, an article formatter is in the works right now and should be sent to those who've purchased it and are on the updates list within the next 48 hours.

I'm not using anything against you dude. I was saying to the person comparing the programs to each other that you, yourself, had said mine was superior.

Anyways, it's not about speed, you are right. It's about reliability and usability. My users don't have to wait for pictures and forms to load in order to submit articles. They don't have 5 different forms pop up. They also don't have a web browser to take up space and make noise. My program simply sends POST data without the wait or hassle. Also, it helps in case the page doesn't load correctly for some reason and the program crashes. Reliability is much better when you program in Winsock or Inet. The web browser, while a bit more visual, is too weak. Also, if you get a pop up of some sort talking about session certificates, then your program will halt and no longer automate until the user him/herself clicks OK to continue. While this hasn't happened yet, you don't necessarily know what the user's security settings are like on Internet Explorer, nor what is to come with the 2009 AC website update.

Also, you have no proof that AC counts submission times. This is just a suspicion we have. To be on the safe side, we both have put time-out features in our programs.

And there's nothing wrong with separate forms, just the way i decided to set up mine, user-friendly.. that doesn't make it any weaker, the web browser is set to suppress certificates and other pop-ups and such so im not worried about that either.
