    AC broke, and I had been contemplating going to Metallica's first concert festival in atlantic city, so I looked up tickets and found out it was the same price to fly into NYC, with the cheapest ticket...11 hours from the time i was looking at the tickets. So I said, what the hell, and bought the ticket. It just felt right. Follow your gut! I ended up getting into NYC just in time to meet up with my new AM's old boss and share some drinks and meet a very well connected man in the industry. I spent the week working and partying in NYC, then down to Atlantic city for the 2 day concert. I'll cut it short here - the moral of the story is, some of us don't all make as much as lawyers and doctors and such, but we have more FREEDOM than they do. Don't forget how much freedom we have as IMers, to travel and take time off or work in different locations at the drop of a hat! it can also open up unexpected business partnerships (follow what feels right!) and allow you to meet all types of people, that you can probably sell SEO to or other things :p

    As you continue your IM success or as you struggle to make it by in IM, remember one of the main reasons we do this - FREEDOM! experience following your hearts desire in the moment! it's what we're in this for :cool:

    to happiness! :p

    That is too true man. Not to mention the fact that we don't have to take vacation leave. Gotta love going on vacations while everyone else is working so hard. No point having the money if one doesn't have the time to spend it

    Yay ppl actually read/replied :p
    yea man metallica means a whole lot to me, more than just a band. part of my soul :p
    yea i did i paid extra for the metclub pass, got w/in 10 feet of james/kirk/robert. got roberts signiture, and 2 guitar picks that were thrown into crowd :)

    yea man my goal w/in 2 years is to have a place in NYC and a place in FL somewhere =]
    awesome what borough? I did, always do
    yup =]
    you gotta!
    i was actually pretty frugal up there. saving up for bigger things ;)
    exactly. hoarding money is almost like hoarding food, it'll go bad and be useless eventually (only w/money your body goes bad. or inflation hits you ;s )
