ABS title format question?

I was wondering if it might be possible to alter the titles in ABS with a search and replace sort of function. There is redundant text my titles which makes it look spammy when it's posted. I'm sure I could alter the inbound RSS feed using Pipes or something, but Pipes are frikkin down right now.

Any help would be much appreciated...
