So I've read quite a bit on this, but people seem to be playing both sides of the field. Should I 301 redirect a new expired domain ? or just simply turn the url into my first PBN page and go from there. I'm sitting 3rd page'ish for most of my keywords.

I really really don't want to penalize my money site for any reason.

    Any insight is really appreciated.

I'd make it a PBN and add content to it about your niche. Links surrounded by relevant content has more power than a simple redirect.

Better if you do a PBN.. Redirect will do if the keywords of your money site and expired domain are same!

What Michael said will give you more power and that has to be the best option.

Build PBN for sure. 301 was quickly get penalized by Google imo.

301 as its not going to do much as a 1 domain network.

So for the most part a 301 has more juice than a single domain with links?

301 will get you a penalty sooner or later, it's risky

I'd go with a PBN option if I have a handful of expired domains in same niche as my money site.

Turn it into a PBN so you can keep adding content to the website. It's value will increase over time compared to the redirect. Also you can build healthy tiers to the PBN furthering it's strength.

Make it a PBN site - much more belivable than a bunch of 301s.
