Not to say this is necessarily bad, but, I have seen so many get lost in the world of digital marketing just by taking advice from people like Hiten Shah, and reading blogs like KISSMetrics.

IMHO, I learnt a lot more in one day from BHW than what from KISSMetrics by going through their shitty advice. They talk about unrealistic, high expense based strategies that no sane startup/small company can take. But when you look at the profiles of people behind such blogs, they are following over 175k users on internet.

Nothing too eye opening here, but for those who are starting out in the world of IM, KISSMetrics isn't the best thing out there. Honestly, this is just an opinion and I would like to know if others feel the same way. I mean, Hiten Shah himself follows over 175k people, what sane advice can someone take from him when it comes to his so called "white hat social marketing tips" other than the first movers advantage?

Stop word density, that is what it is all about. Google are targeting stop word density which is related to article quality. Obviously shit articles are full of stop words. No stop words is the future.

Not sure what you mean't by that. My idea was to re-iterate so that IM newbies won't get confused when they start. I am sure, there is someone out there reading from KISSMetrics on "how to get 100,000s of followers with $5" by Hiten Shah.

The over use of stop words is what the new Google algo is targeting.

i just wanna say writing in active style (opposite to passive == opposite to many stopwords) can rank better and will surely engage user better as well as should have better score in english kings flesch aid readiblity test which can be a factor too)

but these factors are so small man. just put some nasty links

and best seo will be the one discovered by yourself always.

I tested 400,000 sites. ALL sites with an 8.6 stop word density got hit by the Google Johnny update.

Yeah update Johnny is only just rolling out. Good luck if you are using more than 8.6% stop words.

For the people who fail at Google, what are those stop words and should we just never use them again?
A simple Google search as made :as, an, and, be, can, do, eh, for, gee, how, if, etc. as being stop words. Now that is were you need true talent. Do a ineligible blog post, press release, 1k words+, and never use any stop words and make yourself understood. Can be done. Never will I see such a post.
