About new theme

I don't find new theme that interesting the reason is Home section in old theme is much better than what it is in new theme.

I observed a couple of things being an advertiser or being a user of new version.
Pros -
1) The new version is really good and is fast. Specially, in case of sales thread, in current version I keep on waiting for a couple of minutes to get a proper glimpse of images.

Cons-
Seriously , I felt that signature with text looks really dull, with current forum rules, we can't also go with large texts (I guess).
I personally felt that banner ads also looks so dull may be they need new design according to the theme.



A personal question, how you will be going to calculate the amount of likes. I mean, if I have got 100 thanks in current version then how many likes I will get in new version. What will be the rules for signature in new version?

Sig rules will remain the same, the font size will update to reflect the forum text size, so the sig will look the same as the text. These are small visual issues that we're currently working out.

Banner sizes will remain the same size - they are industry standard.

100 likes will = 100 thanks, no need to change.

What about home page section? In current version it really helps to find some relevant and active topics instantly when you get into the forum. But, in new version you'll have to look into each section and that will bring down the fun of browsing this amazing forum.
