Hi everyone,

I am struggling here with this New Regulation of Videos with Artificial Intelligence on YouTube (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/14328491?hl=en-419&sjid=1495865137262456537-EU), which means that some videos created with AI must be tagged, for what I understand is that if video does comply any of this 3 rules below then you must tag it:

Disclosing use of altered or synthetic content

We encourage creators’ innovative and responsible use of content editing or generation tools. At the same time, we recognize that viewers want to know if what they’re watching or listening to is real.
To help keep viewers informed about the content they're viewing, we require creators to disclose content that is meaningfully altered or synthetically generated when it seems realistic.
Creators must disclose content that:
  • Makes a real person appear to say or do something they didn’t do
  • Alters footage of a real event or place
  • Generates a realistic-looking scene that didn’t actually occur
This could include content that is fully or partially altered or created using audio, video or image creation or editing tools.

For what I understand with this 3 rules is mostly focus on fake news but, in my case I am creating travel guides videos with AI Video Creator software like InVideo AI which really only uses AI on text to speech and is not impersonating anyone. So, I think in my case this new regulation does not affect me but, I am not 100% sure since this rules are very ambiguous. What you guys think? Did I understand this correctly? Thanks!

Hello,

Just to inform everybody, I just got confirmed that this regulation is focus on Deep fakes to avoid fake news because of election so, if you don't do that you are good.
