I'm gonna keep things short and sweet here.

do NOT advertise your product or website on Instagram meme pages.

No matter how many followers, stay completely away from meme pages. I'm in contact with several pages on Instagram, with followers from the 100Ks to 1Ms. Most of them post memes, and get asked to promote products all the time. 80% of the time, the pages get away with more money from your promo than you. The followers are self-aware and aren't interested in your product, in the slightest. They're just there for the ironic memes. This is just a heads up from a meme page myself, make sure you stick to a completely wholesome niche page.

Apologies if I'm just restating old-news and you're already well aware of this, but I see tons of people still doing it, wasting money and i feel bad :(.

I'm sure I've seen someone asking about this, so no need to apologize man.

What about the meme pages who make money selling meme shirts?

Twist it and people will buy it as a joke

I've seen this done alot in the past. hasn't happened alot since the whole "ligma" craze that took over instagram. Last time I saw it, the comment section on the post promotion was filled with "buy me if you wanna get bullied" and other negative comments. Most memes have a lifespan of a few days, anything after that and people will slowly start to make comments about it being dead, driving away potential customers.
If you're looking to make money off a meme, you'll have to be speedy gonzales as hell because it's most likely going to go out of style real quick.
Then again, this is just what i know about memes. For all we know, meme shirts could be making tons of money.

I think it depends of the page, some pages just post shoutouts for shopify stores every day, and this can be the reason

If it's an active Instagram account with a lot of engagement and you can figure out a way to make your product fit the feed, I'm sure it can have somewhat of a positive effect.

As for the influencer account owners not giving a shit about your product..that's probably most account holders who give shout-outs.

Sorry you lost money. I'm not one for meme pages, but there's a market for just about everything. Who would advertise on meme pages? T-shirts, banners, bumper stickers or other meme pages looking for same type of followers.
Anyone else using meme pages, is already down the hole.

If you market anything to do with fashion, influencers is the way to go. Again, you need to be careful and do your due diligence. Just like meme pages, there are influencers that fake everything, even taking a dump.

Now that you've found BlackHatWorld, just ask here. We come from all types of niches, markets and such. We have tried just about everything, and what one does not know, the others will lead you in the right direction.

Hahah this is good information.

But I have been following meme inta profiles and there for fun and not for shopping so it makes sense.....

Advertising in meme page is like trying to sell fitness products to stoned kids in the block.

meme accounts are very broad. it's hard to hit the target with them.
