I am in the process of my first keyword cycle and am following cash's blueprint for a keyword with relatively low competition.

I was thinking if it would be a good idea to make a copy of my homepage for each keyword i am targeting in order to put the keyword in my domain.
    like this: domain/keyword

Is this a good idea or will this potentially bring down my overall rankings for duplicating content?

Sorry if i didn't post in the correct forum please move if i did

Why not make the domain/keyword pages and get new content for each page thats more relevant to the particular keyword?

You can scrape and spin articles if you're on a budget or write the articles yourself. If you want quick easy results outsource it to an article writer.

it's an ecommerce site and for my first keyword cycle i added about 400 words relating my product using the keyword, at the end of the homepage.

so i was thinking that for every keyword i target to change that 400 word article to target it towards the new keyword while keeping all the other information about my product the same

Sounds like a good idea but I wouldn't risk it if your site is already ranked very high. It could go either way, good or bad.

You can write content by yourself or by using some software to make them unique instead of duplicating them.

The keyword is related to my product that is why I write about it. I think I am more concerned about not adding value to my homepage since I will not be building any links to it. But I guess I will try building links to all of the pages and see what works better.
