A Twist on Pofecker's Adult Image Idea $$

Right, this is a twist on his idea so all props and rep to him, since he inspired this.

His idea is basically to get a host and upload images surrounded by PPC or adsense adds then post them on adult forums and get traffic.

My twist is, why not create an adult image hosting site? I mean these users of these forums only have shit image hosting sites which will actually host totally nude photos. Make the upload form add free, multi-image upload, quick and importantly SIMPLE. Advertise it on these forums to the people uploading photos and then essentially youve got the work done for you. They will upload the pictures for you/post them on forums/get you the hits.

All you do is create and promote the site a little

You will get more returning visitors/uploaders that way if you keep the site clean. A friend of mine owns a populair adult image host that has got 0 ads. His alexa is 4k now and he doens't even need to work on the site since there are alot of image uploaders who think the site is great without ads.

but then how do you monetize the traffic?

but how will you earn from that? You will pay for the bandwidth they use but you will not earn

I think there's a fine line between filling your page up with a million pop-up windows and a few ppc links/adsense ads. I want to try this method myself, because most of those crappy porn image hosting sites are annoying and slow as hell, but if you could make a decent one, I bet it could get some really nice traffic.

I have a twist to this but My hosting accounts don't allow adult content , do you guys have any recommendation ??

Donations. Put up a message on the site saying something along the lines of "no ads so we need your support or we'll sell ads." If you are making users register, you can do this by mass email to the members and it can be effective, though you have to keep on them.

Another reason is that you get way up in traffic and all, then sell it based on that and that the buyer can monetize the site and make big money. Of course, what the buyer may not realize is that suddenly trying to monetize the site could kill all the traffic, but there are plenty of buyers who drool over high traffic sites and rankings, even if they make $0 in revenue.

I still maintain that if you have a LOW ADDS hosting site, with just one or two adds near the next or random image button it would work best.

Good idea. But the only problem is that the big adult forums will not allow their users to post screenshots etc. from your site. The adult forum webmasters hate linking to adult hosting sites that have ads. Check out the stickies in xboard, pornbb, etc. You will see what I mean.

If its only one, small, non intrusive adsense add would they mind?

better yet why not just put up a few images, and stuff a couple?

My 2 cents:
1) Visitors will not stay, as there are tons of sites where to upload sex pics. Everyone looking for them, not wanting to upload.
2) If You want to attract guys who use Your site to make money, then You have to give them something, like credit for each pic view or something like that.
3) Try to think, if You as visitor will stay and in place of jacking off put Your own pics...think not.

Sorry, maybe to pesimistic, just tried something similiar some time ago and doesn`t work, but You never know, maybe for You will work.

@juggalomc you could be right, a shareapic type script would mean return visitors. Il go experiment.

They say they don't allow, but they hardly enforce any of those "rules"... I post thumbnailed links that land on zip/email submit offers and cookie stuffed blogs all the time and nobody says dick except "thanks for the links" in the reply comments... Even had a mod on pornbb thank me once

That is such bullshit... Imagevenue has a multitude of shitty ads and its in the alexa top 100 with a ton of return traffic.
