Hey guys, I am posting this journey thread to inspire myself as well as other noobs to get in to the Internet Marketing business. I have collected a little information from a few tutorial threads aswell as private messages from a couple nice guys.

Yesterday I invested in a laptop, for about $500, which I will be traveling the world with, at the same time trying to make a living online. I am currently in Mexico, where I am planning to stay for another 3 months before heading south to Central America.

I made my first website when I was about 12 years old, which is now five years ago. Since then I havent done anything productive on Internet. That came to change a few days ago when I invested in a domain. As my billing address and IP address is not matching, my domain got limited. After a few emails I got unlimited and could so finally register my first HostGator account. Also that one got limited. I have emailed support, so it should get unlimited soon I hope. Thereafter will I install WordPress and start learning the basics of it and then move on to make my first website.

Which method will I use? How much will I make? How long will it last?
Those, and very many more questions are going to be answered in future, as I get to know more about this business!

    Wish me luck!

All your questions depend on your niche and time you put in to your site and content. Start with installing wordpress and coming up with n idea or a product and go from there!

Thats the plan! I know I am still far from even getting my first site up running. I am thinking of setting up a YouTube video + Clickbank as first site, since that is what there are most tutorials about. Then after learnt the business a lil bit more, I will move on to Adsense.

Alright so trying to get WordPress installed right now, really much harder step than I thought it would be! I got a domain at domain ,c00m, which I believe I have moved to my HostGator host. I then went into HostGator cpanel and uploaded the WordPress, rar and then extracted it. Then I used WordPress install via HostGator cPanel, but the download link (which should be one of the uploaded files on my HostGator c_Panel) gives me error message. Also, just going to the domain gives error message.

Would love if someone could clarify the basics of all this domain- and hosting- things, and maybe also help me out with my problem!

EDIT: After following about 10 different guides and a lot of clicking everywhere on cPanel I think I have successfully installed Wordpress. First step done!

Here comes a update, two months later! As I am traveling around, I rarley have Internet access and so I haven't worked all day long. I have tho done some progress.

Done 2 websites so far, both have 5-6x 500 unique well written articles. Affiliate links found as anchor text, videos, photos and banners. Premium wordpress theme, well designed header and clean layout without any adds.

Will be doing tiered link building, and both sites got 10-20 web 2.0, some article submission, bookmarking and a youtube video. Will be starting with Tier 2 soon with GSA SER, and then even further on do a Tier 3. Also got facebook (1K likes) /twitter (0 followers) accounts for both sites. And a google+ account that I share with both sites.

Invested in The Best Spinner for $34 I think it was, 3 year advanced payed Baby plan hosting 20% off at HostGator, 6.36$/month, 2x domains $2/each. SerpBook (tracking tool) like $5/month and used AutoFillMagic free trial for my web 2.0 campaign. Will invest in GSA SER for $99 soon. No traffic or any sales yet.

Sounds like a solid plan there mate. Start promoting your site with some social signals and a consistent link building campaign. Keep us posted.

You guys been waiting for 1 year mark? Sorry to bother you, but I cant let it happen. 2 weeks I got left, and those 2 weeks will be game-changing.

To update you about my life, I continued traveling, and got back to study in August this year. As I used an alternative method generating great money during the beginning of this year, I put the Affiliate Market on the shelf. I traveled on those money for quite a while until I got a job at a Web Agency, which is where I am today.

After finishing work this Sunday night, I went in to BHW after a very long break, and I saw this other Amazon Affiliate thread. I read it all, and his motivation inspired me to continue with my long journey.

Now I got 3x pages, all with 5-6x 5-600 words high quality articles, built up with 5-10 Spunned Tier 1 links, which of those are spammed with GSA Tier 2, 3. I realize this is a bad tactic, as the spunnen Tier 1 will punish my site longterm. Anyhows, I am ranking top 100 on desired keyword on all those articles, and I am planning to take it up to Page 1 on my newly started Amazon Affiliate Journey Part 2. We'll see how far it lasts this time.
