You can start your blogging career in 2024. We are still doing great in blogging.
If you can find low competitive niche it's great.
You can visit some website flipping marketplace to get ideas which type of sites are doing great.
It helps me finding good niches.
Though in every niche, you can find low competitive keywords.
Keyword research is very important to start a blog site.
In 2024, I'm building niche sites with Google auto suggestion keywords.
I've developed a Python Script to scrap around 2000-3000 Google auto suggestion keywords just with a single seed keyword.
With the help of ChatGPT and few programming knowledge you can build yourself too.
If you can't, no problem. Go to google and find auto suggestions keyword manually.
Repeat the things with different keyword and find suggested keywords manually.
You can also find some existing chrome extension to scrap Google auto suggestion keywords.
The interesting thing is that, after scraping Google auto suggestion keywords I go to SEMRush and open the keyword overview feature.
In keyword overview feature of SEMRush, you can analyze 100 keywords at a time.
Maximum time I can see SEMRush doesn't have information / matrix of those Google auto suggestion keywords.
SEMRush doesn't have data of 95% keywords. So, we can use those keywords and find low competitive keywords from the list.
Google People Also Ask section also a good source of keyword.
Keyword research is a very large part of SEO and blogging. So, in this single thread I can't explain all of my keyword research strategy.
Gradually I'll share every strategy here in Blackhatworld.
At first, buy a domain name for your website. I recommend to start with a .com domain.
Then choose hosting. At the beginning you can start with shared hosting. Though I use and recommend Turbo and cloud hosting.
Install WordPress
Then install a theme.
Free theme enough to start.
Astra, Kadence and GeneratePress are my favorite themes. (No need to buy, just go with free theme)
Yoast SEO or Rank Math for SEO task.
You can install Easy Table of Content.
Contact form 7 (to create a contact us page)
To load your website faster you can use LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
For your website security install the "WordFence" Plugin.
Now publish quality contents on your blog.
Install Google Analytics or Bing clarity.
Add your website on Google Search Console.
In 2024, EEAT is important.
So, make a good author page. Create at least 5 social media accounts with the author name.
Do social sharing. You can share on the following social media sites.
1) Medium (write a short content and publish it on medium with your blog post link)
2) Create facebook page on the name of your website.
3) Create twitter page and publish all the blog post on twitter.
4) Create pinterest account and publish all the blog post on Pinterest)
5) For advance blogger and webmaster (Reddit and Quora)
Get quality backlinks and guest posting to your site.
Backlink is evergreen ranking factor.
To get quality and niche relevant guest post, you can search on Google like this way.
For example your niche is: Automotive.
Search with Automotive Blog.
Find a dedicated site on the niche.
Then you can use SEMRush or Ahrefs to find hundreds of competitors sites.
Then try to reach out to all the web master for backlinks and guest posting.
