Hello,
Yes, yes, you read the title correctly.
I am going to teach you some simple and advanced formulas to create killer clickbait.
No need to thank me.
Actually, there is.
If you find this post helpful, please give me a like and comment on how awesome I am.
I really hate being called a "Newbie."
It hurts my ego.
So please help me to put a "+" next to "Newbie" in my profile.
A little disclaimer for those formulas: Some niches on YouTube require a specific approach to good clickbait.
Also, certain keywords work better than others depending on the niche.
Remember to observe and research all your competition before you take action.
Know your enemy and yourself, and you shall be undefeated.
Also, it is recommended that you test these formulas in your niche.
Also, note that clickbait is not everything to account for good results on YouTube.
There is the quality of the video, subscriber base, niche, keywords, the annoying algorithm, comments, thumbnails, etc.
Anyway, let's get right into it, shall we?
You've probably seen some of these clickbaits for yourself once, like:
"How I made $10,000 in 14 days while doing Etsy dropshipping"
Or a bit more advanced:
"How I Made $4,919 from Scratch with Affiliate Marketing"
(It is a bit more trustworthy to have an unrounded number)
"How I Made $10K In 24 Hours & How You Can Too"
Blah blah blah.
Anyway, this is a very lazy approach to making good clickbait.
And this works in other niches like fitness:
"2 WEEK BODY TRANSFORMATION (lean to shredded)"
Or in the hair growth niche:
"Derma Rolling for Hair Regrowth Results 3 Months"
It's pretty simple. You should have noticed a pattern here.
I will explain this in a few moments. It has to do with human nature and some copywriting.
But first, the formula:
"How I achieved X result in Y time frame"
Variations might include:
"How I achieved X result in Y time frame using Z method"
And from there, you just add more flavor to it. These could be certain popular keywords in your niche.
Now, the formula does not need to include "How I." It could be anything as long as "X result is achieved in Y time frame (using Z method)."
Here's an example off the top of my head:
"My wife outbenched my 100kg record in 20 days of training, applying a 4-exercise ancient Greek workout routine."
This one is a bit long, but you should get my idea.
Please do not bullshit like me here. This is just an example. You should be honest about your clickbait; otherwise, you might face a strong backlash.
So why is this lazy approach effective?
Well, for any beginner copywriter, the answer will be very simple: the value equation.
In a nutshell, there is this thing called mass desire. It is a result that a group of people wishes to achieve (your target audience).
And the more important the result, like money making, health, or your own appearance (hair), the stronger the desire. The more value you can exchange for delivering this result to these groups of people.
And the faster and easier this result is achieved for these groups of people, the more value this method has for them.
This is why people cannot resist clicking on these videos because it is attached to normal human behavior.
Humans have always wanted to achieve a certain result with speed and ease.
Ahem, I am going off-topic.
Anyway, the second formula will be more challenging to pull off.
But don't worry, you only need some experience and some extra brain calories to make it work.
The problem with this formula is, as you read in the title, you need to chase trends/news and famous people.
Let me give you a few examples:
"Andrew Tate Trolls ANGRY LGBTQ CLASSES On Zoom!"
This covers a famous person in that niche + something disliked and laughed at by the target audience in the niche.
"Andrew Tate INTERVIEW After Jail RELEASE"
This covers recent news in that niche + covers a famous person in that niche.
Yes, Andrew Tate is so famous he has pretty much become his own niche or has dominated the self-improvement niche.
More examples:
"DAVID GOGGINS It is a simple 30 push-up workout that’s not so simple"
Again, this covers a famous person in that niche + a related topic in that niche to the target audience.
"David Laid Opens Up"
This covers a famous person in that niche + more information about him.
Pretty simple, right?
You just need to keep track of what famous people are doing and relate that to your target audience in that niche.
The formulas:
Famous person does something + flavor
New news on current common subject in that niche.
Variation:
News about a famous person doing something
These are a bit abstract, right?
Well, don't worry!
The third formula will make your head spin, for it is the most abstract.
Well, I hate to disappoint you, but I have elite self-control.
(I still create fake Instagram accounts to stalk her, sigh. Why did she leave me? Why do I still love her?)
Back to the topic, the third formula.
The hardest to pull off.
But oh boy, if you do it constantly?!
Then you will become the next Andrew Tate or Mr. Beast.
Or at least your virality will be set in stone.
This is more of a principle than a clickbait formula.
This principle is the foundation of all social media virality.
The foundation of both of the first two formulas.
If you make sure this principle is applied throughout all your social media presence, then virality is guaranteed.
So, the formula is simple:
Exclusivity + Universality.
Very vague and abstract, right?
Just like my ex.
Let me give you a few examples:
From Mr. Beast:
"$1 vs $500,000 Plane Ticket!"
It starts off with $1, a number that we all know. After all, most people like to save and get stuff for cheap. It is universal to search for the cheapest plane ticket. And it is normal to wonder what it would be liked to have a first class ticket.
Then it goes on to compare with something few on earth can have or experience, a $500,000 Plane Ticket.
Exclusivity + Universality.
The main reason I believe Mr. Beast is so good is because he applies this formula not only to his title but to the content itself.
Next: Andrew Tate.
"What color is your Bugatti?" - Andrew Tate flexing on us.
Same theme.
The Bugatti is something few people can have on earth.
Universal admiration and humor.
Andrew Tate is also pretty famous because of this formula. He uses his life, which is the ideal life for any male: rich, a lot of women, a world champion, as the exclusivity factor.
Andrew, however, has a very interesting way to achieve universality. He achieves it by the way he talks and his opinions. He voices out what a lot of men universally think with simple language.
These are the only two examples I am going to give you as it is hard to find these as clear as Mr. Beast and Andrew Tate.
Because all great clickbait and social media viral content come from this third law.
I will let you wonder on your own why this "law" works.
That is it for now.
Oh, one last thing.
(Takes a deep breath)
(Serious face)
I am giving you these formulas so you give me a like or a "Reaction score"!
Also, make sure you recommend this post to anyone that has a YouTube career.
I am not doing it because I like you!
(I am lying, I like this community. I honestly do not care too much about the ranks. I have earned a lot from this site and just want to give back. Also, yes, the story about my ex is true. And yes, I am indirectly sharing such private information because I feel sour and lonely inside. Please do understand.)
I hope you find it helpful. Let me know and share your own findings here about clickbait too!
Do not be greedy and safeguard everything!
Anyway, peace out.

First formula: Your best friend if you are lazy
This formula works in almost all niches, but it is far more effective in niches where a result can be quantifiable, like the money-making niche.
You've probably seen some of these clickbaits for yourself once, like:
"How I made $10,000 in 14 days while doing Etsy dropshipping"
Or a bit more advanced:

Seconed formula: Your Ex that keep changing from one BF to another BF
Anna, I swear to God if I see you with another guy, I am going to go insane. This has already been the 7th guy I counted! How much di...
