    Hi

Should be easy for you guys, I'm basiclly doing a website I want it to be a busy site and well while I have the tools to find keywords I read alot about Anchor Text and while I think I understand I think unless im confused its going to be messy designing. I'll give an example to make it easier to understand my question.

If I have a site Gerbil Help, the menu has a button HELP which forwards to

    Links us too
    URL /pet-gerbils help/
    With
    PAGE TITLE: Pet Gerbils Help
    KEYWORDS: Pet Gerbil Help
    H1: Pet Gerbil Help

Now the H1 Tag used <a> which links to /pet-gerbils-help/ now the Menu Anchor text is Help

Because I use the h1 Tag with <a> will this class as a good achor or is it conflicting because the Menu uses the label just Help? Should the text link on the Menu < Help > be labeled Pet Gerbils Help?

Because having to do a menu looking like, I have like 50 entrys for some menu catagorys... Zomg
Pet Gerbils Help > Food for Gerbils > Gerbil Seeds
Pet Gerbils Help > Food for Gerbils > Gerbil Strewberrys
Pet Gerbils Help > Food for Gerbils > Gerbil Bread
Pet Gerbils Help > Food for Gerbils > Gerbil Nuts

Looks awful on the eyes, while the h1 will return the correct achor / label once the page has landed.
Hope that makes sense, any suggestions welcome.... I'm using solely one keyword phase by using word tracker I dunno if you guys recommend using a 2nd keyword phase with a h2 tag....

Look forward to your responces, thanks again guys and girls.

had a views with no responce, /bump hehe

Maybe people finding i hard to understand what I mean...

Menu >Short name link</a> <--- doesnt match page title

    At page

H1 Matches page title, H1 is <a> to the current page
    Meta is Page title

how does this affect my SEO? Does all links on the site need to be well labeled? even in menus?

You can receive a penalty for keyword stuffing. If your external backlinks have "pet gerbils help" I'd guarantee you'll be penalized.

Google knows what your pages are about, get the gerbils out of the navigation menu. Use the words moderately on your pages. There is ABSOLUTELY NO bonus you get for high keyword density. However, there is a stiff penalty for keyword stuffing.

PS I've taken hundreds-of-pages sites and went through them all manually removing keyword stuffing to get ranking improved and penalties removed so I'm not just talking on theory here.

You do not need to add any keyword on general menu such as "Help" bla bla. Emphasize more on backlinks Anchor text as compared to the text of internal links.
