Interesting question. Are you wanting to rank your rss feed or get juice into the links inside? I wonder if the juice would flow through the RSS feed and into the links inside?

Unless you are throwing major PR juice at that feed, the best you can expect is that the links inside will be indexed...and that is a good thing. Give a ton more links and good quality, high PR links then you have something all together.

Personally, I take my daily xrumer feeds and create rss feeds out of them. No more than 10. Anymore and you run the risk that the search engines won't get them all.

I give it some each link a unique title and description. And then submit those feeds thru backlink energizer, rss submit, rss bookmarker (mainly scuttle sites), back thru xrummer, thru ping.fm web 2.0 sites... I get links indexed and moving.

You get it right? I basically wait it out a month. Yeah...do something else....I got over 100 sites, and a limited set of clients so I always have something else to do....Anything still sticking is mine! I run thru backlink checker and prioritize based on PR.

Now do same for all links pointing to your site! Outsource it if you like. There are some great guys on this forum. Whatever you decide, either spend the dough or the time. It is so worth it.

Damn if I don't get 1st page rankings. And I am not talking about some silly 4-5 keyword phrase either. I make a full time living doing this so I am talking GOOD money. Can't imagine going back to that rat race EVER!

The bad thing in all of this is my husband thinks this is normal to get page 1 ranking, really?

LMAO all the way to Bank of America...."what is that you do"? Talk to my pimp husband! :)

Seriously love him to death...he married me in 2000, and I was diagnosed with Cancer 6 months later. He stood by me without hesitation for a year of treatment. So now, I give him the BHW life!! :)

    Be good.

I am a dumb a*s in the department of RSS feeds.

Where do you place the RSS XML file? Do you put it in a folder on your site, or on another IP that has nothing to do with your site.

Also, after you place the XML file then what? Do you use RSS Submit?
