I did have a few paragraphs written out for this post about my current situation, what lead me here and mostly woe is me bullshit until I realised I'm just looking for validation and support.

I was reading another thread which I won't link but it generally just pissed me off. This guy was talking about big plans of how he's going to make his money, stacking ideas on ideas but then doing absolutely nothing to start it which kinda of unlocked a moment of self reflection in me. Even though I KNOW I need to make smaller steps with a clear plan and build up from there I would always just have a great big plan of something but never actually start to think about how I'm going to do it, or at least never putting it into writing and planning it out. Just hours spent researching and studying the thing but not doing anything with it. I think seeing someone else so obviously kidding themself about what they're going to do but not actually doing it just wasting time woke me up a bit.

So what's my plan?

Before I go into developing a skill-set or starting a venture I first need time. I work 10+ hours a day for minimum wage and it not only destroys my body it also eats up all my time. I am a trained vehicle technician but have very little shop experience due to COVID lock-downs and losing a passion for cars due to a few reasons. This leads to one of my shorter term plans which is to relearn some of the more complex parts of my college course as well as anything I have forgotten and generally brush up on everything so I have something to show potential employers instead of just saying "I don't have any experience" and hoping for a chance.

For this goal I'm giving myself till January to complete. I'm going to mostly use weekends and any spare time during the week after work which is usually an hour or so. The jobs this will open up to me will immediately increase my income by 30-50% and frees up a couple hours a day.

I also want to live in France potentially late next year or the year after. I'm currently A1 and want to get to at least B1 before even thinking about moving. To achieve that I'll need 30 mins to an hour a day. I think the best thing for my ADHD brain would be to alternate days so one day of french one day of studying my old college course so I don't become bored in one thing and it will keep both things fresh in my brain or perhaps 30 mins on each every day.

Why am I posting here? Mostly for myself so I can get the clutter out of my head and written down so I stop overthinking but also to stay accountable and give myself a little bit of structure that comes with having a journal.

Before next week:
Learn the best way to break down goals and create a plan with structured steps.
One hour a day of studying.

If anyone has any tips of how they structure their own days, projects, life in general I would love to hear from you and hopefully learn a few things.
