@bluematter how long ago was this method done?

I don't use facebook but i've checked the link buyers/sellers and 99%+ of it seems to be Indians selling links for $5 or deals like "40 quality links for $60".
It doesn't seem like a platform where I can find people buying decent links from legit domains.

How many buyers there will be these days for a site with 0 traffic and whack metrics? Not that many.

Then again, if the site is on many lists I guess you can make it work.

I remember a few years ago when I contacted site owners for placements (I had a list in hand from database)... didn't check the stats and people asked me $3000 for a guest post with 0 traffic. Probably fishing, but that made me giggle.
you reminded me of my friend who did very similar strategy around 2013.
the diligent customer will want to know stats, da, traffic, etc to justify a $3000 expenditure.
then there's some who are blind and think nothing of it and send the $3000.
its just a game of traffic. how many eye balls can you get on your sales page. some people will buy with very little resistance. especially if you "niche down" to them.

Hello,

Facebook is just 1 part of the method, it's all about finding vendors and getting into their lists. You can find 10s of Guest Post Vendors here on BHW marketplace itself and many similar marketplaces which I can't name due to rules here.

If you visit any Seo Marketplace these days, hottest links are Guest Posts and Niche Edits, none of these vendors have their own inventory, they outreach to bloggers and include them in their inventory list, all you have to do is to convince these vendors to add you in that list.

Guest Posts are not hard to sell if you've a decent enough domain/site. It's all about networking and making connections.

Thanks!

When you buy a DR30 site do you rebuild posts that were ranking or start new posts ?

I have heard about it before, although you make it seem a lot simpler than it actually is. I know it works. just gotta work hard enough, i guess, haven't been successful yet, because of the wrong choice domain, perhaps, next time I want to try, I will be more careful, and diligent.

That depends if you find a good niche relevant domain (NICHE - SUITABLE FOR SELLING GUEST POSTS aka HIGH DEMAND) which had decent content and it was ranking well, you can rebuild it, otherwise start fresh.

After the site is up how long before you start selling? Can you sell on an empty site? Or should you get a dozen articles up?

Any other sneaky ideas for getting on vendor lists / networking?

@bluematter

It's a really good method thanks. Just quick questions on link profile if you don't mind.

Is it worth maintaining a clean link profile for the website, even when I sell guest posts to others who may potentially build spammy tiered links to my site? Is it worth keeping a low spam score, and if so, what strategies can I use to ensure my link profile stays clean apart from disavowing them regularly?
