First off why do it? Your not monetizing the pages other than looking for donations?
So do you just keep the donations then??? Fuck the cancer patient, you just keep it instead?

I have seen my own Facebook feed blow up with this shit and I just know what ever dirtbags are behind it all will most probably be here at some point looking for another $1 a day method.

I'd like to remind the people who run these pages - You don't know shit about IM, your pathetic and I hope you get charged for distributing these awful images. You've done nothing impressive or intelligent, so don't feel proud of yourself or think you've accomplished anything......your the dirtbags of the internet

I see a similiar problem when it comes to health niche. There are so many bullshit information written from people who have no idea about medicine/health and just want to sell their products or rank for particular keywords. They just have dollar signs in their eyes and don't see what damage they can cause.

Some people deserve to be scammed. I don't feel sorry for people online. I don't feel anything at all for them. They are all fake.

It's a very dangerous thing, when people propose to elevate the fictitious online identities of anonymous electronic bits to the same "real" status of real people in real life. I think the fake people that have their fake money taken by fake scammers that make you feel fake emotion by putting out fake images of the fake suffering of fake people and/or fake animals deserve all my real and heartfelt scorn and derision. Fuck them. They could all drop dead within the next 10 minutes and tomorrow morning my world wouldn't be not one bit different.

I may or may not read a flitting piece of electronic "news" about their passing, and will have forgotten completely about them even before the next news blurb pops up in front of me. A moment's distraction, whose only purpose is to provide a small blip of entertainment, in an infinite ocean of forgettable factoids.

I agree with op. Some people are just ruthless.

I started the whole "Apple are giving away special edition iPads in Honor of Steve Jobs" niche the day he died. Made about $80k from it in a few days.

I actually felt really bad about the whole thing, when I told a friend about it he said "im a marketer, not a saint." He went on to make $40k+ in a single day from the same thing.

I do feel that there is a bit of a difference from my situation and this whole cancer/animal cruelty thing. Those 2 effect many people on many levels and are bound to draw a strong emotional response from anyone who has encountered similar situations.

I AM a marketer and NOT a saint. But I would not stoop so low as to cash in on that shit.

A simple message from a newbie like:

Despite of the fact that I myself are not a master of internet marketing yet, and I do not know how to earn thru facebook, posting untrue pictures and cancer patients is not right. What if the person in the picture would see it and he or she is totally healed with a particular sickness. Or what if other social workers help those people already. I think it is also good for both sides; the internet marketer and the owner of the posted picture.

People online are not real? OK whatever dude.

@G-S-T I understand what your saying. There is a line and I wouldn't personally make bank off someone who just died. To me its classless and I don't like to profit from peoples misfortune.

Saying that, you didn't harm anyone. Maybe they lost $3 doing a mobile submit but they're out nothing. Also none of steves jobs family would have been upset about it, you didn't distribute anything harmful about him or his illness etc. All you said was they had a chance to win a special edition iPod etc, its no biggie.

I'm an adult webmaster personally, so I've my own morales about what's right and wrong but people who USE cancer patients or animal cruelty to make profit for themselves deserve a bullet in the face... they're just scum.

By the way if your ever in Phuket GST hit me up!

How is it ok to make money out of someone's death just cause you think they're less worthy? Take a look at history and you will see how that concept is seriously flawed.

That's pretty low (lol) but I think it's still just within reason. We'd all do the same. Gotta say, the ingenuity of this cracked me up. Brilliance.
