I ran across and old parade magazine I kept from 13 APR 08 that is their annual 'What People Earn" report.

Some of the ones from the cover, which I broke down to an average per day and working no weekends are:
A farmer from West Salem OH, ~$96 per day
A hospital clown from New York NY, ~$89 per day
A bounty hunter from Morgantown WV, ~$236 per day
A pharmacy technician in Tampa FL, ~$73 per day
A car sales manager in Odenton MD, ~$655 per day
A spanish teacher in Farihaven MA, ~$121 per day
A software engineer in St. Louis MO, ~$230 per day

Inside ones:
A singer in Nashville TN, ~$22,364 per day
A singer in Boulder CO, ~$59 per day
An ID theft consultant in Birmingham AL, ~$457 per day.

Some days I don't do as well as a clown, other days I do better, and, I deal with a lot less crap than anyone on the above lists.

A little food for thought is all.
