I was just reading another thread on here about having an old eBay account and what to do with it and I am in sort of a similar situation, except mine is much more complicated.

My mother and father were both avid eBayers WAY back, I'm talking '98 and '99 being the dates when their accounts were created. They each have 200+ feedback on their accounts.

Anyways, a few years ago my brother and I were selling Vero restricted items and eBay took it upon themselves to not only ban our two accounts, but also my sister's, my mother's and my father's.

I owed something like $90 in disputes and my brother owed about $350.

eBay told me if I paid my fees my account would be reinstated, and sure enough after I paid the fees back they said that there was another reason that I was suspended and it would stay that way until the other issue is resolved.

I am assuming that it is related to my account obviously being linked to my brother's with his outstanding fees.

ANYWAYS! Is it worth it for me to get in touch with a higher up at eBay and find out what I have to do to get all our accounts back? I read that accounts as old as my mother and father's can be worth $10,000+. Is this true?? I have no prolem paying off my brother's fees if I can sell their accounts for big money or partner up with someone here on BHW and use them.

    suspended accounts are worth zero

age of accounts isn't important any more with new selling limits, which yours will certainly have IF reinstated + no selling activity regardless of feedback + IF you can avoid getting them linked (which, you can't based on the info in your post)

No. There is no way to get the accounts back for selling.
Buying maybe but selling? You are considered a high risk and not worth the time/effort the ebay/paypal

Plus, IF they did reinstate you, your selling limits would be put at either 10/1000 or 5/500 until you proved yourself again (could take months or years)

At this point in the ebay game, the age of an account means nothing if it has a lot of black marks (selling vero/cases) and no activity for a period of time.

You could buy an aged account, but expect to dish out a few hundred/grand(s) for it.

Even then? Isnt worth it because eb/pp can ban you at the drop of a hat.

Best to make a stealth account.
