A Little To BLACK HAT!

What things have gotten your site banned by google in the past that you did that were just, well, to black hat!

I'm trying to avoid these things, as I've spent the last money with an outsourcing team developing a fresh ecommerce site, great design, lots of products, on page, SEO, etc

Anyways the point is, I don't want to screw it up by using techniques that are known to get you banned by google.

So, what can you suggest I DON'T DO!?

Thank You.

This should be interesting :p

dont use blackhat techniques directly on your site.... use them on sites directing to another site that directs to your site.... so like 2 layer thing

don't create 1000's of doorway pages on your money site domain

its as simple as dont do blackhat seo to your main/money site and youre done
what are blackhat seo methods? you do the research

hey, sorry, maybe stupid question, but about those doorway.

Can I use like 1000 doorway sites, which java redirects to x (nonmoney) site and then x (nonmoney site) java redirects to y (money site)?

Or should I do 1000 doorway sites, which java redirects to x (nonmoney site) and that non money site has just basic hyperlink to y (money site)?

Hope it is clear what I mean.

Thanks for help in advance!

I agree don't use blackhat on your money sites. Only use BH techniques to drive traffic and only on domains you can afford to have banned

I've gotten three sites penalized in the past month for what I don't BELIEVE to be blackhat at all, but I guess I'm wrong. They're not brand new domains and nothing overly suspicious was done with them. Wondering what the hell could be going on, I check Google's Webmaster Guidelines even though I figured the stuff was the most basic common sense which I'd seen a dozen times.

I feel a little stupid just now realizing that reciprocal links are apparently discouraged by Google. Which is, like, a joke. Oh I know: "Build quality content and success will happen magically." Yeah, and if that were true there would be no need for marketing, advertising, or us. I don't know yet if the recip links were what caused the penalties because I've really done nothing differently on those sites compared to the other ones I have, but I tried removing all links and submitting reconsideration requests anyway. Still, even if that is the problem, that doesn't even make sense; I can show you a dozen sites off the top of my head that have a linkfarm-degree of irrelevant reciprocal links on every page and they're ranking best.

Anybody have a similar problem?
